It used to be that he who made the gold made the rules.
But now it seems that he who makes the gold rules the remote.
I have nearly sixty years of marital research involving two husbands.
My conclusion is simple:

Men of every generation whine about the same things.
Men insist they don’t whine.
They “express legitimate concerns.”
At increasing volume.
Whining is difficult for men because it brings them dangerously close to the dreaded F-word.
Not the F-word you’re thinking of.
FEELINGS.
Ask a man how he feels, and he’ll say:
“Fine.”
Ask how his football team looks this season, and he’ll deliver a 45-minute emotional monologue involving hope, betrayal, grief and inadequate coaching.
Men have feelings.
They just assign them to athletic teams.
