Joker's Wild & the Neighbor & Family Fued
In 1972, in my spare time, while I was busy as a suburban wife and
mother raising 4 kids, I randomly applied to be on The Joker’s
Wild, which was a Game Show on national TV. I did an interview and was chosen that day to report for an actual taping of the show in front of a live audience.

It was so exciting, and I was smiling, laughing, and jumping around that it is easy now to see why they picked me. Many of my friends went down for the taping, and I won the first game, only to change my wardrobe and lose the second. All was not lost, though, since I made friends with the talent coordinators, and I was in their Rolodex for future shows.
